BDN Holiday Card
The concept for the year 2000 BDN holiday card was a collaborative effort between the company partners and myself. They requested a light-hearted illustration that involved their marketing course and an assortment of holiday characters. The idea of illustrating the partners as business snowmen is inspired from Bill Waterson's Calvin and Hobbes cartoon.
I've illustrated two other holiday cards for BDN: 1997 and 1998.

PowerForum Characters
The Austin PowerForum was a tech convention held at the Austin Music Hall in the Spring of 2001. Illustrating and animating the over 200 characters and jetmobiles for this minute long movie was my final project at FG Squared. You can view a full list of credits for this piece here.

In addition to being animated for the movie, these jetmobiles were illustrated at high resolution for inclusion in posters and prints.

PowerForum Lead Singer
I used traditional, computer drawn 2D techniques to animate the PowerForum band. The lead singer's animation includes a moonwalk sequence.

ML&R Web Cartoon
ML&R is an Austin based recruiting firm. I illustrated this cartoon series in June of 2000 to liven up their corporate web site. The only copy of the text that I have is embedded in a corrupt illustrator file — thus the blank caption areas.

The Quimbus Bird
The Quimbus Bird is a children's book that my brother and I co-wrote in 2004. This scene depicts a sculptor who works with living clay.

Colabranet T-Shirt
In 2003 I was asked by Colabranet's CEO to illustrate a design for the company t-shirt. My concept involved caricatures for each of the seven directors. Initially I considered this a pretty daunting task. Fortunately everyone was very forgiving with regard to my unflattering renditions.

The Blowfish
The purple blowfish was our programmer's mascot of sorts. It was given out to whomever broke the project build.
I ended up with it on three occasions.
