Partnerflow is a web-based application designed for the electronic components industry. Its modules include opportunity tracking, request & order workflow, forecasting, reporting, and more. Using Photoshop, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I worked closely with another developer to design and program the front end of the application.

Beyond my day to day responsibilities, working on Partnerflow gave me the opportunity to:
- Program and bug fix in a version controlled software environment
- Balance tasks and features between the Director of Engineering and the Director of Product Management
- Lead digital UI prototyping sessions with customers and co-workers
Price Analyzer
I designed the Price Analyzer for the Partnerflow back office prototype. This module gave users an easy to understand display of all past quote and shipment pricing data. This in turn helped lead to faster, wiser pricing and forecasting decisions.

Sales Dashboard
The Sales Dashboard is the home page of the Partnerflow back office component. Under the direction of the Director of Product Management, I designed this module to be flexible and customizable for high level insight into multiple business channels within a single screen view.

OppBuilder
The OppBuilder is Partnerflow's core front office module. It is designed for the creation and tracking of sales and sales leads (referred to as opportunities).
Based on a tree view summary and tab system detail, the OppBuilder is an extremely powerful sales tool. The tree view utilized drag & drop functionality for easily connecting associated items (shown as sockets on boards and boards on programs).

Match Utility
The Match Utility is designed to help the user match an invoice back to an opportunity. To better facilitate this process, key data points on the invoice are right justified against the key data points of the opportunity. A quick scan of both items reveals mismatched data marked with a red X.

RequestBuilder
The RequestBuilder is Partnerflow's workflow engine. All requests for quotes, samples, design wins, etc. are handled through this module.
A request lifecycle has multiple status and stages with multiple owners and issuers for sign-off. This was the most complicated piece of UI that I designed while at Colabranet.

Modal Window Wizards
Modal Window Wizards are powerful UI driven processes for object creation on the fly. The Account Wizard, for example, allows for quick account creation when filling in fields on a new opportunity. Before the implementation of the Account Wizard, a user was forced to create a new account before creating an opportunity for said account.

SmartSwing Software
The SmartSwing software application works in conjunction with a SmartSwing golf club to capture and display both visual representation and key data points of a user's golf swing. The swings are downloaded wirelessly from the club to the software via USB device.
My UI design work on the SmartSwing application includes written and graphic design guides, all screens & screen elements, icons, and HTML prototypes.

Software with Front View Maximized
SmartSwing's visual/animation component includes three camera views to play golf swings from front, top, and profile vantage points. Each view port can be maximized for greater detail.
The software uses a “reference pro” or perfect swing (the figure shown in blue-gray) overlayed with the user's club (shown in yellow) to help illustrate flaws within the swing. The reference pro is scaled to the user's dimensions.

Tabbing System
SmartSwing software utilizes a tabbing system for the display of swing data.
The animation controls include all standard features (play, pause, scrub, loop, speed, etc.) as well as a ten step break down for key swing point reference.

Clubface Impact Point
The fourth view port (1-3 being the camera views) houses multiple visual data representations. Depending on user preference, impact point and swing acceleration graphs can be displayed here.

Clubfitter Swing Report
Clubfitters emerged as a major market for SmartSwing in January of 2005. I was responsible for designing a printable, customizable swing report that a Clubfitter could use for instruction with clients.

Putter Application
The SmartSwing Putter Application was slated for release in December of 2005 — three months prior to SmartSwing closing its doors.
In December of 2004 I created and programmed a functioning HTML putter prototype for use at the 2005 PGA Expo. Said prototype was a substantial factor in helping to land key SmartSwing partnerships for both R&D and funding.
